Project Bigfoot is a long term adventure. The public phase of Project Bigfoot began in January 2005. Project Bigfoot started out as a small group of individuals interested in several science projects including Bigfoot. Realizing that the ability of this group alone was limited, they decided to launch the Public Phase of the operation to strengthen the capabilities to respond to sightings and conduct investigations on a much larger scale. It is our intention to coordinate with people throughout the country giving us the ability to respond quickly and locally to any given report.
